Comfort Zone Camp Featured on The Today Show
Please take a look at the segment ran August 3rd about Comfort Zone Camp. It gives you a good idea as to what happens during a weekend at camp. The photos were from the weekend that Richard attended.

There are camps throughout the United States. If you know of a child in need please be sure to pass along the information to their parent/guardian. You may change their lives! Camps run throughout the year. If the family cannot afford to get the child to camp Comfort Zone helps with travel scholarships.
They are also always in need of volunteers of all kinds to help support these kids! Please consider volunteering your time to help these children through the toughest times of their lives.

Luau For Love July 24th
The Luau for Love will open the beginning of our fundraising campaign. This is our son Joshua's 5th birthday party. He wanted to be a part of our project so we are using his party as our start date and asking for guests to bring an In Kind donation or make a monetary donation made out to Comfort Zone Camp. We will have lots of food and fun prepared for the day! He cannot wait to share his birthday with so many wonderful people for such a great cause! Please help us to make this a huge kick off to our campaign!
Supplies for Survivors/Funds for Families
Richard and Hugh will be heading this part of our campaign. We will be asking local companies and organizations to place a box in their facility to take in kind donations and/or a collection jar for spare change/monetary donations all to be added to our total collection for Comfort Zone. This will start July 24th and continue until September 9, 2011. September 9th would have been George's 1st birthday and we want to make it a special occasion and use it to help change the lives of others suffering a loss.
If your company or organization would like to participate please email: garman_family@yahoo.com for details and to get a box for the "Supplies for Survivors" and/or a jar for "Funds for Families"
Your business/organization and address will be added to our web page so people can drop off their donations.

Family Fare
Michael and I (George's mommy) will be taking care of the final part of our campaign. We will be holding a brunch/raffle on September 11, the day we would have celebrated George's birthday with friends and family. We will be selling tickets to the event and will have lots of baskets/raffle items to bid on. At this last event we hope to be able to turn all items/funds donated over to Comfort Zone Camp and have an idea of how much we have been able to collect. Details will follow soon but please put the date aside.
Anyone who has attended our previous fundraisers for our children know that it is a lot of fun with lots of great items!
For tickets please contact: Nicole Garman garman_family@yahoo.com
